The Butterfly effect: n. (With reference to chaos theory) The phenomenon whereby a minute localized change in a complex system can have large effects elsewhere. I was thinking about past events recently and pondering on the effect those events would have had if I was successful in my own attempt on my life. It’s a morbid thought for sure, but it is something that has plagued me for a very long time.
